Does LogMate slow down my site?
Minimal impact. LogMate only writes to the log during errors, which are infrequent in production. The JS listener adds a tiny script but it’s non-blocking and loaded asynchronously.
Does it work with any WordPress theme or plugin?
Yes. LogMate hooks into WordPress core error handling and the browser console — it’s fully compatible with all themes, page builders, and other plugins.
What PHP version is required?
LogMate requires PHP 7.4 or higher and WordPress 5.0 or higher. It’s tested and confirmed working up to PHP 8.2 and WordPress 7.0.
How do I stop JS errors from filling my logs?
Use the auto-purge retention settings to automatically remove logs older than N days. You can also disable JS error logging independently from PHP logging in the settings panel.
