BruteFort resolves the visitor’s country via geolocation. If they’re blocked, they get a 403 before even reaching the login form — no rate limiting needed.

Two Modes, Total Control
Use Blacklist mode if you want most of the world to access your site but need to cut out specific bad-actor regions. Use Whitelist mode if your team is entirely in one country and you want the tightest possible access control.
Blacklist Mode — Block selected countries
Everyone can reach your login page except the countries you select. Best for international sites or when you know exactly which regions to cut. Adds countries via a searchable multi-select dropdown.
Whitelist Mode — Allow only selected countries
Everyone is blocked except the countries you approve. Ideal for internal tools, private client sites, or any site where admins are exclusively in one region. The most aggressive protection level available.
Note on VPN users
Geolocation is ~95% accurate. Sophisticated attackers using VPNs may appear from allowed countries. Combine geo blocking with rate limiting and IP blocking for layered protection.
